Heller Fellow Disease Investigations Research Associate I
San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance Beckman Center for Conservation Research
This one-year Heller Fellow position within Disease Investigations (DI) will focus on building aging and biomarkers of health tools for wildlife conservation that can be applied both locally and globally. You would be working under the direction of DI's veterinary toxicologist and the first project will focus on setting up an epigenetic clock pipeline in our molecular diagnostic laboratory, with cheetah aging for our first project. Previous experience with DNA methylation is a perk, and if you are at a post-doc level and interested in applying, please feel free to and we can talk about options.
