Learn about upcoming events, meet our members, get to know your local SETAC chapter

We are excited to announce that registration is open for the 2023 Annual Meeting for the Southern California Chapter of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SoCal SETAC). Representatives of the Desert Southwest Chapter (DSW) will also be joining us (covering AZ, NM, NV and western TX) and we look forward to welcoming new faces into the SoCal group.

The meeting will be held April 17-18 in Lake Arrowhead and we are pleased to announce a program with special sessions: Talkin’ Trash: Micro/Macroplastics and Beyond on Monday the 17th, and Multiple Stressors in the Environment, Tuesday the 18th. In addition to these timely topics, we will have two General Sessions covering a diverse array of material. We cannot wait to connect with new colleagues and catch up with friends in person.

The call for abstracts for platform or poster presentations is now open and will close on March 9th.

You can find registration information here and abstract submission information here.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
