SoCal SETAC will conduct a one-day training on MOLECULAR TOOLS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING with a focus on cell bioassays and RNA-based qPCR.
Venue: Ventura Crowne Plaza
Date/Time: Sunday April 26, 2020, 10:30a to 5:00p
The course will provide background information on these technologies and case studies examples. Attendees will participate in hands-on data analysis exercise to learn how to evaluate and interpret the results.

The SoCal SETAC Board of Directors is awarding travel grants to help undergraduate and graduate students attend the 2019 SETAC North America Annual Meeting in Toronto, ON, CA (Nov. 3-7th). The purpose of the award is to encourage participation of SoCal students at the North America Meeting and to encourage student membership and involvement in our Regional Chapter.
